Honorary Professors     Appointed members.     Supporting members

Important announcement to members of Strömstad Academy.

Due to new laws regarding record keeping GDPR, Strömstad Academy is now updating the list of members on its website.

One of the academy’s most important purposes is to contribute to information and knowledge being disseminated through members with great competence in various areas. Therefore, we wish to make information available on our website, about the members who have applied to join the academy. This is to make it easy and clear to contact people in the academy who represent a certain area. This applies, for example, when members want to contact each other, when newspapers and the press want statements in specific areas, when schools are looking for lecturers, when they want statements of expertise in different areas.

Member’s description and CV

On Strömstad Academy’s website, under the tab ”members” must appear:

  • Name of member (first name, last name)
  • Date of entry into the academy (year, month, day)
  • Function in Strömstad Academy

  • Picture of the member
  • Email address
  • Short personal description (max 5 lines)
  • Special knowledge

  • Professional background (max 6 lines)

The same information must also be available in English.

Excerpt from ”Being a member means”: The member has an academic address with a place on the website and for those who want a personal email address. It is assumed that the member uses this address and that he presents himself on the website. When a member is elected to the academy, he also approves that information is published on the website. Please send information as above to mariana.back@nordic4dframe.com as soon as possible

NOTE! This applies to EVERYONE, even those who have already submitted information before and recently.

If you do not want to share your information about yourself, you have the opportunity to waive this benefit by sending an email to the vice.chancellor of the academy where you clearly describe what information you are willing to share with others on the website.
