Strömstad Academy is organized as follows:
The board is the highest decision-making body. It meets 2-3 times a year plus the annual meeting in connection with the science festival the week before midsummer.
The Working Committee (AU) consists of a chairman, vice chairman, secretary, rector and vice-rector. They meet about once a month and make ongoing decisions.
The Vice-Chancellor leads the academy’s activities and development. Also represents the academy to the outside world. The principal is appointed for x years by the annual meeting.
The Pro Vice-Chancellor is responsible for the newsletters and replaces the Vice-Chancellor as he or she cannot represent the academy.
In addition, there are a number of working groups with specific tasks;
- The marketing team
- Website group
- The editorial committee for the various series of publications
